Now a days Space Mission are going to be held to know more and more about our Mysterious Universe . Today I'll describe about Top 5 Major Space Mission of 2022 .
1 . ExoMars ( Exo-Biology on Mars )
ExoMars is astrobiology mission of the European Space Agency ( ESA ) .
The first part of the mission was launched in 2016 that placed the Trace Gas Orbiter into Mars and released the Schiaparelli EDM Lander . The Lander crashed on Mars's surface while the Orbiter is operational .
The Second part of the mission was planned to launch in July 2020 . It was planned that when the Rosalind Franklin Rover on the surface, supporting a science mission that was expected to last into 2022 or beyond . But on 12th March, 2020 ESA announced that the Second part of the Mission will be delayed to 2022 . It was because of problems with the Parachutes , which could not be resolved in time for the Launch Window .
The aims of this ExoMars mission are —
- To search for signs of past life on Mars
- Investigate how the Martian water and Geochemical Environment varies
- Investigate Atmospheric trace gases and their sources
And by doing so demonstrate the technologies for a future Mars Sample Return Program .

2 . BepiColombo
BepiColombo is a joint mission of the European Space Agency ( ESA ) and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency ( JAXA ) to the Mercury . The mission contains two Satellites , launched together — Mercury Planetary Orbiter ( MPO ) and Mercury Magnetospheric Orbiter ( MMO ) . The mission will perform a comprehensive study of Mercy . It includes characterization of its Magnetic Field, Magnetosphere, and both interior and surface structure . It was launched on an Ariane-5 rocket on 20th October 2018 . It was planned to arrive on Mercury on 5th December 2025 after a flyby of Earth , two flybys of Venus and six flybys of Mercury . The mission was approved in November, 2009 .

3 . Artemis-1
Artemis-1 is a planned uncrewed test flight for NASA's Artemis Project . It is going to be the first flight of NASA's Space Launch System ( SLS ) and first flight of the Orion-MPCV Spacecraft . According to NASA on July, 2022 — Artemis-1 is expected to be launched between 29th August and 5th September .
Formally known as Exploration Mission-1 ( EM-1 ) , the mission was renamed after the introduction of the Artemis Project . The launch will be held from Launch Complex-39B ( LC-39B ) of the Kenedy Space Center . From there an Orion Spacecraft will be sent on a Mission of between 26 and 42 days , with at least 6 of those days in a distant retrograde orbit around the Moon . This mission will certify the Orion Spacecraft and SLS vehicle for crewed flights beginning with the second flight test of Orion Spacecraft and SLS, Artemis-2.

4 . Luna-25
Luna-25 is a planned lander mission by Roscosmos . It will land near the Lunar South Pole at the Boguslavsky Center . Luna-25 was renamed from Luna-Glob Lander to emphasize continuity of the Soviet Luna programme from the 1970s . Though it is still part of what was at one point conceptualized as the Luna-Glob Lunar Exploration program . As per May 2022, the launch is scheduled for September 2022 .

5 . Capstone
Capstone is a Lunar Orbiter that will test and verify the calculated orbital stability planned for the Lunar Gateway Space Station . The Spacecraft is a 12-unit CubeSat . It will also test a navigation system which will measure its position relative to NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter ( LRO ) without relying on ground stations . It was launched in 2022, and will spend over six months flying around the Moon .
